Stay beside one of Kona's most recognizable beaches.

Magic Sands has a personality all its own. Some days the water is calm and clear. Other days the shore break draws bodyboarders and surfers. In winter, a strong swell can even carry the sand offshore for a while before it returns.


From 314, all of that is right outside. The corner location gives you floor to ceiling glass on two sides, with sliders that open straight to the sound of the surf, while downstairs you can grab coffee at The Beach Shack or walk over to Magic’s Beach Grill without getting in the car.


Inside, the full kitchen faces the ocean, the bedroom has a king bed, and split A/C keeps both the kitchen and bedroom comfortable.

The Corner

Watch Magic Sands from your own corner of the coast.

Instead of a lanai, 314 gives you the whole corner. Sliding glass doors run along two sides of the living room, so open them and the room itself becomes the lanai, with the beach and Pacific in view from the bar table, the sofa and the kitchen.

Whales, dolphins, green turtles and reef fish all pass through here, and the sliders put you close enough to hear the shore break from inside.

Kona Magic Sands is a small oceanfront condo building with an oceanfront pool, propane BBQ area and onsite laundry. The Beach Shack is downstairs for coffee, and Magic's Beach Grill is right at the property for lunch, dinner and drinks. Show your 314 guest key tag and Magic’s takes 10% off food (dine in only, not takeout or the Beach Shack).

Magic Sands Beach is immediately next door. The beach is seasonal, and strong winter surf can temporarily pull much of the sand offshore, so the shoreline can look very different depending on the time of year.
